I'm not just a mother... I'm a working mother....

Being a mother is the greatest gift from God... It's the most hardest & dignified jobs for any other women. I was blessed with 2 angels my Justine Nicola ( 9 y/o) & my Justin Venz (1 y/o). It took us almost 9 years to have our little boy. In that 9 years we have been working abroad for almost 5 years & once a year I had my vacation to Philippines to be with my daughter for a maximum of 30 days, by that time she is staying with my Nanay dear... For that 5 years I had a very easy life, from work I used to have a lot of time to rest, facebooking, surfing the net etc.... Because, I have only one baby with me here in Kuwait, my hubby hehehe.

My Nanay & her grandchildren... We're very lucky for her & we love her sooo..

But now we have decided to bring our angels here in Kuwait, it was really a tough decision yet the best decision we've made because being with our kids is the most happiest moment here in Kuwait... They're presence, smile, laughs, spoiled brats, everything relieves the tiredness & sleepless nights I have been through since they came here ;-). As saying says; "Our children needs our presence not out presents." ;-)

My angels...

It was really a big big adjustment for me & for my hubby as well when we brought our kids here. First, we have difficulty in searching for a baby sitter because of the police checking for illegal expats here in Kuwait that most of the babysitters where illegals ;-). In the morning I have to prepare everything for my baby boy (milk, feeding bottles, food, diapers, etc...) before my hubby will drop him to the babysitter. Also, I have to prepare food for my baby girl who will just be staying at home... Once everything is prepared, its my turn to to prepare myself going to work hehehe (at least I have a time for myself)... 

Weekend bonding with kiddos

After work I have to prepare food for dinner & have to get my child to the babysitter (in case my husband is late from work), do some house cleaning, washing the feeding bottles, etc.... Take note, washing & ironing still not part of it lol!!! Before going to bed I have to make a baby shower or sponge bath for my baby boy & remind my baby girl to do the same. With the daily chores that I should be used to it for my kiddos here in Kuwait. With my situation now, working mom w/o a stay-in housemaid -  I may say I am a super mom.... And I salute all mothers especially my Nanay (Mother)  who never stop being a mother to us up to now.

My simple family...

Well, I hope I can still managed the tough & happy life I have for now... I don't ask for a perfect life because there is no such a perfect life  but I just ask to God to give me more strength, good health, courage, & strong faith in him to be the perfect mother to my kids & trying to be a good wife to my hubby....

I am an OFW MOTHER

Of all women's right, the greatest is being a Mother... Its a big  sacrifice to for go a life with my angels ensuring a better life for  them.   

Thanks to technology I got the chance to have a chat  & look at their latest pictures on the net & whenever I hear my  kids  voice & call me "mama" it's a music to my ears. It's not  enough to ease my homesickness but it's the only way I can reached out  with my loves.  

I may not be the perfect full time mother yet I am trying to become the perfect OFW Mom  ;-))

I am reposting this from my status & make it as a blog. This is for all mothers sacrficing to be away temporarily to their sons & daugthers (our angels).

Khiran... Finally...

Have you heard about man made beach? Have you heard Khiran? 

Oh well... Khiran in Kuwait is near Saudi border. I have been there once / twice & it was really a good experience.



After our lost adventure on our first attempt going to Khiran for an overnight camping.... Finally I have seen the Beautiful Khiran on the 2nd attempt going there with my friends... Stayed there for overnight & had set up our camping tents near the seashore...

The beautiful manmade beach of Khiran Kuwait is a far place from the city or industrial area of Kuwait the reason why few people come & discover the beautiful place. I am lucky to have a friends who loves adventuring & discovering Kuwait & now I am sooo proud to say that I have been to Khiran... A piece of advice, if you're planning to go in Khiran you should have car in convoy or go there in a group of more than 5.

Miggy & Laida in Kuwait... Kilig much!!! ;-)

My first filipino movie here in Kuwait... had a great movie fun day with my friends here in Kuwait & it was really fun & kilig movie of my ultimate crush John Loyd & Sarah G.

Ticket is quite expensive but proud to be pinoy & patronized our own as they say hehe...


Of course we didn't missed the popcorn & tacos with drinks inside the theater & most especially pix pix inside ;-) Thanks to Sadique who took photo for us...

Hello Kitty Restaurant in Kuwait

It was sometime in October 2012 that Hello Kitty Restaurant in Al Bida'a Kuwait was opened & we just heard about it last Tuesday - May 21, 2013... quite late news for us right? But just a perfect time as my kids were already here in Kuwait so we could go together & have some family & friends bonding moment.

It is located near Movenpick Hotel... as we are heading to the resto my daughter is very excited as she wears a Hello Kitty blouse with her Hello Kitty sling bag to match the Hello Kitty Restaurant ;-)

Well as a food lover... We ordered kids meal, pizza, veggie wrap etc... And we enjoyed together we the good ambiance of the resto especially if you have your kids with you...

It was a great experience together with my few friends here in Kuwait and with my family... It's nice to feel child again with the Hello Kitty design of the resto, so it's like I am just same age with my daughter lol!!! Try it peeps ;-)
